ABPmer to advise Wightlink on proposed ferry upgrade

Wightlink is seeking to improve its service by undertaking terminal improvements works and introducing a new purpose-built environmentally friendly ferry, capable of carrying over 1,000 passengers. 


ABPmer a leading marine consultancy, has been appointed by Wightlink Ferries to provide specialist environmental advice for its proposed upgrade of the Fishbourne - Portsmouth Gunwharf ferry service.

Wightlink is seeking to improve its service from Portsmouth to Isle of Wight by undertaking terminal improvements works and introducing a new purpose-built environmentally friendly ferry, capable of carrying over 1,000 passengers. 

ABPmer will provide advice to Wightlink regarding the environmental implications of the proposed service upgrade, and will be supporting its planning application by preparing the marine chapters for the impact assessments and consenting documents.
