Every three years the Maritime and Coastguard Agency invite Duty Holders to sign a statement describing their organisation’s compliance with the Port Marine Safety Code.The next round of compliance statements is due on or before the 31st March 2018.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency is reminding Duty Holders to sign a statement describing their organisation’s compliance with the Port Marine Safety Code. Statements should be sent in hard copy or preferably via e-mail to the address given on the Marine Information Notice.

To inform the Duty Holder’s statement, the Code suggests that internal audits should be carried out every year and external audits are conducted at least every three years.
